Default Trailblazer 400 Rear fox shock went bad rebuild/replace

Should I have it rebuilt an recharged or should I go w a works or other model shock?
THE rebound is very very slow to come back up an it blows thru its compression stroke really fast. When I push down on it,it feels like its got a bur on the shock almost,it hangs up sorta in a few places I dont see any scratches or burs or nicks on the shock shaft.I just wonder how much Im looking for to have it rebuilt compared to just buying a new 1

I would think a rebuild would be a lot cheaper.
I just bought a 2001 400 Scrambler that needs the shock rebuilt.
And I do a lot of Fox snowmobile shocks so I'm going to do it.
It can't be that much different.
I would be happy to do yours, but I'm in Michigan.
I charge $35 to do sled shocks.
Thanks,
van
