any 1 got any tips on a 2004 2 stoke ds 90 i put brand new pistion and rings in it and seems like nothing will make this quad go she will burn her primer thats it

i cleand the carb and did alll the adjusts ments still the same

 

Sounds like an air leak or lack of fuel..Check your tank for flow then the lines and filter..If that all checks out make sure the float needle assembly is clear as well as the pilot jet in the carb...Does this bike have an electric choke?..Maybe try covering the carb with your hand while cranking and see if it will start..If it does the choke is not working.

 

when i rebuild a bike and it wont start on it own i pull start it.

 

yes it do have a automotic choke but i unpludged it and took it out and stuff it seems 2 me thaat i can spray gas in the carb and she will run while i keep sprayn gas with the trottle wide open

 

did you remove the pilot jet and clean it while in the carb?

 

Oldyeller, I think you hit it right. could it possibly be the base gasket leaking or a seal that is not tight.

Try putting your hand over the carb opening to act as a choke while cranking..Once it starts you will have to give it a little air to keep it running.
