Default seat creepage

Anybody know of a way to get the front of my seat to hug the gas tank again there is a big gap inbetween the two and it looks real bad. I was thinking of maybe heating it with a heatgun and bending it back, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having the same problem on a 84 200x. If you find a solution, let me know.

I ended up recovering it so while the old cover was off, ( before putting the new one and off the plastic ) I turned it upside down sat on it and blew it with a hair dryer in the bend for a couple minutes back and forth across it then sat a 40lb. bag of dogfood on it for an hr. or so and it actually worked. Hugs the tank now.
