Has anyone out there changed there exhaust on a 07 800. What have you done? Was it hard to do? Sound? Personally I don't like the sound of the stock dual exhaust. Kind of sounds tinny to me.

 

I have the Supertrapp IDSX on mine. I don't care for a tinny exhaust note on any machine. The IDSX gives a louder and deeper tone. Check Youtube for a sound clip of it. There is also a clip for a HSP muffler that you might like better, and others as well.

 

This has a fairly mellow tone.

How much work was it to install yours?

 

Really simple.

Two nuts and two springs and the stock muffler comes off. The stock rear bolt gets reused, the stock springs get replaced with the Supertrapp springs. Very simple and quick installation.

 

Hey sheep...In that first clip it's a good thing you didn't nail that exhaust at the beginning of the clip....It was in reverse wasn't it?

Couldn't let me slide on that one hey JCD......LOL! It definitely was in reverse. Sort of like the other video where the guy goes to start it up and the key wasn't in the ignition. I got a chuckle out of that.
