I need some ideas, I just bought my first quad a week ago had to have a 660 raptor. Road it for a day put it away went to ride the next day and it wouldn't start. I have spark I have gas, it wont start pushing. I need some help im going crazy

 

put a few drops of gas down the spark plug hole.put spark plug back in and see if it will fire.This will eliminate some possible problems if it fires.

 

try to pull start behing anther vehicle the higher rpms might help, especially if its a compression problem. there are many possibilities for your problem.

 

check the choke to see if it works

 

These motors are known for the intake valves tightening up, and the motor losing compression. Hard starting on a cold motor is the most obvious symptom. Check the valve clearance, and especially the intakes.

make sure battery is full, my raptor won't start unless battery is well above 50%. I can bump start it with a bad battery, can crank it over and over with a o.k. battery, but it on't fire unless battery is strong??
