mud tires

The biggest thing for a machine like that 225, which is horribly underpowered, is to keep the tires small and lightweight. I would try to go with a 22-11-9 or 22-12-9 rear tire on it. What kind you get depends on your riding style, but I would suggest something like Kenda Bear Claws or Maxxis Sur-Tracs. Both of those are relatively lightweight, inexpensive, long lasting, and would make a night and day difference with that old moto 4.
What size are your front tires? If those are 25's you're gonna want to step down to a 22 in the front as well, otherwise you're gonna have a weird unstable ride.

i use it for hunting i have a newer set of 22x8x10 on the front the only issue that i have is that my tires are bald and i end up spinning alot but it seens to have a lot of power also my concern is that i high center alot so i want to keep the ground clearence up

I'd still try to stay with a lighter tire, even if you decide on a 25", unless you really want something more aggressive like the AMS Swamp fox or Interco Swamplites. Those tires have more bite than the lighter ones I suggested, but they're signifigantly heavier.

my buddy has a recon 250 and has had good luck with ITP mudlites. I love my maxis sur-traks on my wolverine, and also love my GBC dirt devils on the back of my Polaris Trailboss 325, three good tires to look into

Mudlites are a good performing tire, the only thing I don't like about them is that their tread compound, as well as many other ITP tires, seems really soft and fast-wearing compared to klaws or sur traks.
