Outlander 800 sunk

Drain everything (assuming you have pulled it out). Any compartment or box (Even electrical components) that can be opened should be opened and left open to air out in a heated space. Replace the air filter. Change ALL fluids (gas & coolant, too) and remove the spark plugs, crank it over a few times (after putting fresh oil in it, but leaving the plugs out). Insert the plugs and give it a shot. If it does run, let it run for several minutes to get warmed up, drive it around lightly and then change the oil again.
If it doesn't run or even crank, charge the battery (If it will take a charge) & check any fuses first. Water can short circuit a battery.
If all else fails, I hope you have good insurance.

It occured to me that maybe it is time to invest in a good set of chest waders and test the depth of the water before you try to cross it. You could sure save yourself some time and effort!
