I have a spare atv winch, any thoughts on installing the winch on the back of my 04 sp500[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

How old is the bike? you have the hitch receiver? If yes, just get a hitch bracket that fits in your hitch receiver mount your winch on it and run wires with quick connect. That way yoy can mount it only when you want or when you need it.

I have a few pictures on my page of one mounted on the rear of the same quad.

 

I have a 2002 sportsman 500 and a new 2008 sportsman 450. Would like to make a quick disconnect mount that would let me mount a spare winch on either quad. I would also like to use the standard handlebar mounted rocker switch with maybe a toggle that would select which winch it would control. Any ideas???
