My new Sportsman 500 efi keeps stalling whenever I stop. I only have 30 miles on it and haven't even had the first oil change yet. If I lightly touch the throttle it will run but if my thumb is not on the throttle it stalls. Any ideas.

That's what it sounds like to me as well. Near the healight pod there is a rubber boot over the cable. Slide it back and snug the cable up a bit and you should be good to go.

 

Removed the boot and tightend it up and it works perfect again. Thanks I am a happy 500 fan still.

 

Can you say ETC? (Electronic Throttle Control) LOL!
