Default 2000 Blaster

I have a yamaha blaster that has a weak motor in it. i was looking at puttin a 2 stroke 250 motor in it. What would be the best motor to use?
would this be hard? How much work would this be? Any help i would be grateful for. Also what kind of carb or anything like that will i need. Thanks

the best would be yamaha's yz250. there is a couple on youtube. seems like a great project . from what i've seem people use a swingarm from warrior, and have to fabricate the engine mounting. one of the benefits beside having 250 power you also get liquid cooling. try to google info, there sould be something out there. you can get parts from ebay. good luck

i think a 490 would be super crazy
but i looked and as much stuff that they used from a warrior wouldnt i just be better off buying a warrior that has a locked up engine or something like that?
