1996 xplorer 400 4x4

i was out riding in the snow yesterday and i get a real loud banging in reverse not in foward just wondering if any budy knows what i should look for first

All chain drive? start by checking out all of your chains and sprockets. Including chain tension. Doc

yes it is all chain drive 3 chains the baningis definitly the drive train the reverse limiter is working right and i halfto press the little yellow button to have full power in reverse

If you dont see any problems with chains and sprockets, its probably the silent chain in the tranny, if thats it you need to get it fixed asap, the chain can come off and wad up and break the case, that sucks.
