This has me baffled. I just had to replace my battery on my '05 DS650X adn as soon as the terminals are connected, it starts turning over and trying to start. The problem is that the key isn't even in it and the kill switch is killed? Any tips?

STARTER SOLONOID IS STUCK TRY SMACKING IT LIGHTLY WITH A WRENCH AND IT SHOULD FREE UP THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WHEN SOME ONE HAS BEEN TURNING OVER AN ENGINE ON A DEAD OR WORN OUT BATTERY FOR AWHILE.

its not a law but i do belive in replacing starter sols after they stick once but you may never encounter a problem like that again.But once they stick once they are more seceptable to doing it a second and third time maybe even while the the bike is running and i don't have to explain the concsequences of that DO I......[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
