Default Opportunity to trade a Scag mower for a 2000 400EX

Hello,

I'm thinking about trading my 2000 Scag mower 48" deck with 17 HP Kawasaki motor (Value of maching is $1000.00) for a 2000 Honda 400EX + $800.00.

From the pictures, it looks really clean and it has new tires all around. I was told there was no cracks on the plastic and the machine runs excellent.

Is this a good deal? If not, then why?

Thank you for your help.

Pete

I would do it the ex is a great bike esp for trail rideing. I would verifi the conditions of the bike like basic stuff check to make shure it runs no metal in the oil and shifts good. The ex is air cooled so the is not a whole lot of things that can go wrong w/ it. It's a very reliable bike.

Thank you Dodge. I used to own one back in 2000 and loved it. So like you said, I'm going to check the oil to make sure that there is no metal chips in it, and be sure it shifts good.
