110cc kazuma wont crank
#1
Im having problems with my daughters 110cc kazuma . I just got it for her used its alittle worn and wouldn't start . I took it home replaced the starter and it fired right up . She rode it all day until dinner when she went back out to ride it it wont crank over now . If you turn the key in the on position and hit the start button the nuetral light dims abit but no clicks or cranking . I pulled the starter off and it works fine . Checked all the connections and the grounds .What should I check next solinoid ? How do you test it ? Magneto ? How do you test that ? Any info would help thanks .

Check the battery voltage with a voltmeter when your trying to crank it to make sure you have 12 volts under load. If the battery is good check the safety switches as they can kill the starter voltage, such as the brake switch that most models have. I would also check for 12 volts at the solenoid when you are trying to crank it, as that will help rule out the solenoid being bad or good. If you have no voltage at the solenoid then trace it back until you find 12 volts.

wow a lota no starting issures today, this one sounds like a dead battery, yes they die that quickly. quick way to detemind if its the battery is take a piece of heavy wire and touch both terimals on the solenoid, if the motor doesn't turn over then it the battery.
