Alphasports Kolt 90 stator help!!
#1
i have a Kolt 90 that is not getting any spark. Did most checks and i think the stator is the problem. i will be removing it this week. What stators are interchangeable with this motor? Will the some of the ones sold on ebay work? Please help.

Welcome to the forums rollinjoy.
First thing to watch out for on ebay, is when they say it will fit too many models. Now a lot of these do have parts that interchange, but you have to know what you have and what they are selling are a match. I've seen a guy selling a frame that was for a 50, 70, 90 and 110cc Chinese quad. A 50 and a 110 do not share the same frame.
I just bought a 2004 Aeon/AlphaSport 90 and it's the same thing as a Polaris Scrambler 90.
Here's some info I got for AlphaSports, hope it helps.
AlphaSports Motors.
They are actually distributed by Tomberlin Product Group.

So you are saying just to beware of the ebay stuff? So woud your 2004 AEON stator be the same as my Alphasports 90 stator? So the Polaris stator should also fit? Thanks for the site link. I scrolled through before but can't find what parts are interchangeable. Just trying to find a cheaper part if i can. Gonna run to the auto store and grab steering wheel puller for the fllywheel. Hope it works.

Here is a link that will be very useful to you if it is indeed the same stator as the Polaris or Eton, also I included a second link that is an auction link for the above styled stator if it is the same as yours. Also you may find that a steering wheel puller may not remove the flywheel cover as you will most likely need one that has internal threads.
