i was out in the garage and i was painting a few parts on my 2001 400ex and i took off the startermotor cover and painted it and once i got every thing back on i started it up and the starter had a high pitch sound and it seemed to run the battery down... i need to kno wat is going on!! please help!!

 

o yea and the seal broke so i put a silicone one around it and the battery i think is ok because it had too much corosion on it and i cleaned it up... but it still makes a high pitch sound..
