i can personally say YES, my buddy has the same model as mine, a 2001 kaw/mojave and he had to tow start mine a couple times as well as out of the mud a few times, as well as i did the same for him... just be careful, do it slow at first because the front will want to come up. We just used a tie down strap around the front frame and around his/mine grab bar to get the job done.

LOL, but you strapped the rope around your grab bars? Why not straap it around your rear axel?

Because why take a chance of bending your axle which can be very expensive to replace if your really stuck? I would much rather bend out, or lose my grab bar then have to replace the axle

thats true no need to bend and axle unless on like some sports quads like mi trailblazer u can pick up a tow hitch and than u can prap it around ther adn pull i much rather brake a grab bar than an axle u can always weld up another grab bar

True, but the axel housing is much stronger than the grab bar? The axel housing can with stand up to about 500-600lbs and the grab bar can only take up to 400lbs until it bends, brakes off, or brakes off and some of your plastic. The axel housing is the only way you would not pop up your front end, and if you tie it to your grab bar you will have less rtraction on your rear tires so that will make you put more throttle.

Doubtful, first off your most likely pulling your buddy UP so the back is already placing more pressure downwards enhancing your traction, considering we are talking about a few hundred pounds difference for a much more expensive replacement I will take the grab bar. Figure that between your buddy hitting his gas, plus your quad pulling forward it usually doesnt take to awful much more to get you out.

true liquid i much rather take the grab bar as it is the quad will squat down as it is....i have pulled a p360 with mi trailblazer from mi grab bar and it pulled out eaisly the p360 died out in the puddle so it couldnt help drive out so it was mi 250 trailblazer doing all the work and it did pop the front end up all i had to do was put mi weight over the bars and than she griped right in and out it came with no problem sept for a little dent in mi grab bar thats all
