Battery wont stay charged

Why wont my battery stay charged on my 97' Bayou 300?

It will continue to run, but over night it loses its charge.

You need to have your battery tested/load checked. Even if it is new.

Make sure your battery post connections are tight. Loose connections will not take a good charge.

How old is the battery? I dont think the batteries last like the ones in your cars because they only cost $35 at Wal Mart.

Battery wont stay charged

I had the same problem with my battery and it ended up I needed a new regulator/rectifier. My bike was an older Bayou though "89", I think.

Battery wont stay charged

I looked at the regulator and the connector that it plugs into has a corroded wire in it could that be it?? The battery is new and I had originally charged it completely with a battery charger
