Sportsman 450 Bogging Down
#1
Have an 06 Sportsman 450. It runs perfect except for when climbing a hill or when i was hitting the snow a few months back it would bog down buried and i would give it gas. All this in high range, now problems in low. Its as if its starving for fuel on the hills. Checked spark plug and air filter. Thanks

I agree with Caper, check the ECM. We just had ours replaced. I do remember several
times it losing power on hills etc. a couple times of its freaky cut outs. RAD was not blocked
or HOT, filters all clean, really in great running condition. I NOW BELIEVE ALL OF THAT WAS
ECM related. -IMHO
After a little carb cleaning, throttle adjustments and the ECM replacement, man this thing runs
GREAT!
