Default Itp 589 or mudlite xl

I am planning to buy new tires for my atv. The tire size im getting is 26x10x12 front and 26x12x12 rear. I cant decide witch tire to get 589 or mudlite xl. What are the advantges over each other. The 589 dosent have 26x10x12 they have the 26x9x12 witch sucks cuz i wanted the 10 inch wide. The mudlight xl has 26x10x12 for the front witch is great but i dont know what tire to buy. I they both have the same lug sizes. I need a tire that wont chip and wear out quickly. I need a tire that would get me through mud, rocks, logs, ect.

I was in the same boat, I went with the Mud Lite XTR radial which takes the benefits of both the regular Mud Lite & the 589 and add radial tire technology. It is a GREAT set of tires and I highly recommend them. Great in Mud, the best tire I've used yet on hard pack and best i've used yet in snow.

Go with the 589. They wear awesome. I usually wear a set of tires out in about 1000-1300 miles. I've got 400+ on the 27" 589s and they barely have a rounded edge. The guy i bought them from runs them on a foreman and he said he has 3000 miles on them. They are a great all around tire that hold up when they have 0psi of air in bad times ya know.

I myself prefer the mudlites due to the wieght of them and they dont rob your power as much,

But for what your looking for the 589 is what you want, my brother in law has run 589s on his rincon since the day he bought it in 2005 and they look brand new today and has never had a leak one. I just think they are heavy.
