Default TRX350 Having trouble with neutral and engine crank

I am having trouble with a 2001 Honda TRX350FM1. It is in neutral, the neutral indicator light will not come on and the engine will not crank. No noise is coming out of it.
Have checked battery- I think it is a neutral switch problem but I do not know where the neutral switch is. Any help or suggestions?

The electrc starter & ignition on that bike won't work unless the ECM can see neutral.. You can run a ground to the neutral wire to get it to start ..

The gear position switch is under the rear engine cover (alternator cover) it can be serviced with the engine in the frame .. Does the "R" reverse indicator work ..? ..

Honda had problems with shift drums , the post on the rear broke off which turns the gear position indicator on 2001-02 TRX350's ..
