Buying New Tires-Swamp-lites-I think--I DID
#1
After looking at all the tires out there it seems to me that the Interco Swamp-Lite are about the nicest looking tire for the money as long as they perform like I been reading. I need 2@ 25x11x10(they have 1" lug) & 2@ 25x8x12(they have .75 lug) and so far the cheapest Ive found them delivered is $261.80 from a place called - MUD-THROWERS - I was wondering if any of you guys know of anywhere else that might save me a few bucks over the price Ive found. Also if anyone has some new feedback on these tires I'd greatly appreciate hearing it. Thanks

are you sure there 1" tread? the 25" TIRES I HAVE ARE 3/4" tread and could only find 1" tread in the 26" and up. i bought my tire/wheel kit for $540.00 deleivered. did you check on ebay.

I went to the interco site itself and in the 25" tires all of them are 24/32" with the exception of the 25x11x10 being 32/32" which by luck??? Polaris just happened to run that funky combo of 25x8x12 fronts with the 25x11x10 rears on my "99" 500 stock--- http://www.intercotire.com/site97.php -- I ended up calling this place called KG Motorcycle out in CA. and they gave them to me at a sale price? of the 4 @ $260.00 on the button with a 3 day delivery time to ME. which was as good or better then I was able to find on ebay. Have you run them? I am interested on how they hold up wear wise.

i see your running 10" rims on back thats why you were able to get the 11" wide as thats what i wanted but they dont make them for 12" rims. we have only had them on for about 40 miles but seem to handle well and do a decent job in the mud and all round. this is according to the wife of course. i think you'll like them.

Hey MW,
You said you bought all 4 tires (Front and rear)? You have a 2wd with your trail blazer
right? Does having the 2 up front make a big difference or is it that you just got a good
deal getting all 4 tires w\rims opposed to a set of 2? Reason being, my buddy wants to
but just "2 tires w/rims" for his REAR on his Trail Boss and last conversation w/him was
MUDLITES Vs. Swamplites. Just looking out, trying to get all the best info. out there so
I can pass along! Thanks my friend!

big R' i bought just the rear tires for the wifes trail blazer when i replaced hers. you dont really need any great tires on front since theres no traction as long as the stock ones stil steer good. we bought the mud lites and had good luck w/ them. imo.

Cool, thats pretty much what I thought! So you are a 3rd generation again MudLite
consumer. Now that you had them to compare with your fairly new Swamplites, what
would you recommend bro.? I am asking for a SP500 (friend) and SP800 (Me, my cuz and
another cuz we call DAWG, LOL).
Thanks Bro. for the great info.!

And thanks to MW! I forwarded all of this info to him, copied our forum thread link. He
has been pricing his Mudlites for awhile. If he goes with the Swamplites and just
buy for the Trail Boss then he will be doing good. If you click my VIDEO link and click
on my GREENRIDGE video from YOUTUBE, in the beginning there is a smaller Trail Boss
going round and round thru the mud holes just with stock and it handles
pretty good. So it would be interesting to see how much more these Tires will improve.

I have been very happy with my 25" Swamplites! Better then expected in the mud , ride very well on hard pack trail, dig/pull excellent in pretty much any surface and an added surprise bonus is the size...The 25" Swamplites actually measure a touch over 26" so you are getting 26" tires for 25" price! 25" Mudlites are really closer to 24" when mounted!
