Mine does have 26" stock. I think the bigger is better mentality is making me want 27's. That and I want to be bigger/better than the guys I run with. They all have 26's. Childish I know but that's how the game works I guess. I need to talk to some people who have run the 27's on a 500.

 

One thing that has been brought up that makes sense is--you have 26's now and even if you went up to 28's your only going to gain 1" in ground clearance. So for the $ your not really gaining much other then looks IMO.
