Finally to our 2nd ride
#1
We finally got to get out for our second ride. We have a favorite camping and fishing spot and always see ATVers unloading near by so we drove up there and set out, not knowing where we were going..just kinda followed.
This is a mountous area that had steady climbs winding through the canyon and a 2 lane road, that goes down to 1 lane in some places.
This road is used by atv's and 4x4's and we had a blast...We made it up to the snow level and went through some snow before we decided to turn back.
The parking lot where we unloaded was packed, but there was pleanty of trails for everyone.
It has rained a lot so I had pleanty of rain water filled holes to plow through
As the trail kept us raising higher and higher from where we parked, the big trees below got smaller and smaller...I love the mountains
We are really liking our 500's and are glad that we chose them when we were looking to buy atv's.
Thanks to all of you that helped me and answered questions when we were looking.
Here are a few pics:

There are some pics of the scenery along the trail too.
We can't wait to go again!

Dawg, those mountains are beautiful. I even set one picture as my wallpaper. I'm glad you like the quads. The 500 is perfect for me. The world famous ride and plenty of power for work or play. The 500 seems to be the best balance of features overall that any quad has IMO.

Up there is about 1 month behind in the seasons right now. The blooms on the aspen trees are just starting. It will be lush green in about another 2-4 weeks..glad you liked pics.
We recommend the 500 to anyone who asks...
Thanks for the reply

The only thing I can count on about the seasons is my pink roses blooming in June. They opened about a week ago and smell like perfume. Everything else is a big question mark. My dad used to say, "If you don't like the weather in Michigan, stick around a few minutes. It'll change."

Looks like you have a wonderful place to ride! Ya gotta love the mountains!
You and Mongrol have us all envious!
It's great to experience nature from the seat of a quad!
Congrates on the new rides!

Yep, we are looking forward to many more trips and wondering what else we can see from riding.
I've heard people say that they can get into places on their quad that you can't other wise get to, and I am startin' to believe!
