Default broken piston ring 96 400l sport

hey I broke a biston ring on the exhaust side lost compression but there is no damage to the cylinder wall do I need to do anything to the cylinder of can I jus put a new piston in it

Light honing and a new wiseco will probably be ok if clearances are good -- I have seen this before .

I believe you want a max of a .003 gap between the piston and the cylinder.

do I just put the same size piston in it says on the top 86. something on top of the piston
