Some of you know that I just picked up a 2002 500 HO Sportman.

I noticed that the only panel lights that illuminate are neutral and reverse (really, the only ones I care about). Am I missing LO and HI gauge lights? This is no big deal, really, just a curiosity.

 

Hi Drew. My '01 didn't have any indicator lights for high and low. You know as soon as you squeeze the throttle which one it is. There's a red "HOT" light if the engine overheats. If that ever comes on don't ignore it!

there is no lights for high and low. just the ones you see. its pretty easy to tell the diff. between hi and low and the gear selector is in a differnt location unlike the new ones that is just straight forward instead of offset.
