so i've taken the sender unit out of the gas tank once and fixed the problem. the rheostat connections need more force applied, so i bent the two little springy fingers to apply more force. that worked for about 6 months but it's back to it's old tricks. does anybody know who would sell the rheostat part? I don't want to buy a new gas tank for just that part. any help would be appreciated.

 

Check with bikebandit.com You may be able to buy that part separate there. My gas guage totally quit working on mine. I've not been able to figure out the problem.

 

well, i tried that, and they want me to buy the gas tank as well. thanks for the reply. more ideas are welcome.
