Default Disappointing,Ride. Todays update.

Me and the wife went out today about 1hr into the ride Her Sportmans 300 dies. after a quick check found out the battery was totally dead. Not charging. had to tow her back. Stopped by the local Dealer on the way back. The Mechanic came out and checked the battery, and decided to just put a new one under warranty, after the new Batt he checked the charging system. It is not charging,so I scheduled a appointment next week for service. Vary good service, Midstate Powersports.

I bought a spare Batt, and a charger and will charge both up to night, we are going out tomarrow no matter what. Hopefully we can get a days ride and then will drop it off for the service next week.

08 Sportmans 300 6 hours on the clock, 3rd time we have rode.

Yes, Don't get too upset over this ,Even though you have only a few miles on the Quad.........I am one my Third ECM for my 2006 Sp 450 and still happy with my choice!!

I am sure this is just a isolated problem and not too worry......Caper.........

Did she know that she was posing for ATV Connection?

Make sure she doesn't ride with the headlights on if you'll be under battery power only. Also, don't expect to get a whole days ride in with just two batteries. Too bad the ignition system didn't run off a magneto, then you could ride all day with a dead battery.

If you keep the 300 on the trailer she can ride back there. I actually gave someone a short, slow, non-highway ride like that. They had a blast. I want to try it too.

Where did she get those riding shoes? My wife would love to have a pair like those

Congratulations on two nice bikes. Post more pics when they are really dirty.

is there a way to eliminate the battery from the quad we use to do it with race quads. i mean if it has a pull start why would it need a battery?
