Default 86 Suzuki LT50 good beginner?

Im wanting to get my 6yr old duaghter a starter quad and I have a chance to pick up a 86 lt50 for a good price. Would this be a good quad to buy? Are they reliable even being this old?

My daughter's started on the ALT50 (3 wheeler variant) at age 4 (oldest) and now my 3 year old is on it, because my oldest is now 6. This is a perfect starter quad. We run our ALT50 "Trail Buddy" in the sand dunes with them, they love it, it goes well with the 3 and 4 year old weight, and in the sand they fall on a pillow of sand and get right back up. Go for it, then move them up to a DRR 70 or 90 later!
