size: 150cc adult size frame w/reverse and elec & kick start
style :"raptor (I think its called) has slanted catseye headlights.
color: red front plastic and black back plastic
other identifying marks: in foot area, the front foot protector plates have a "panther type cat" embossed into the metal with "ATV" underneath it.

I would contact RaceWayAtv for any part's you need. The gy6 150cc engine is pretty much standard issue for all 150cc auto quads.
Does your 150 have a manual or auto/electric choke? Does it not start or just run bad once started?

It started running a little rough a week ago where it would not get constant power when I went full throttle. It would kind of sputter and fly, spudder and fly.
Then Tuesday in the midst of a ride in the woods (trails, nothing harsh) it started sounding higher pitched and louder. I stopped and could not see any exhaust punctures (guessing) or anything else visible. I headed home.
While riding to the truck to load it, it cut off almost as if it were running out of gas.
(Wasnt out of gas..) Then it wouldnt start, it wouldnt turn over.
The nest day, it tried to turn over one short time and didnt again.
This may be unrelated and nothing, but I did notice the "gas tank switch" (turns from tank to reserve) is harder to turn now.
as for the choke, I think it is auto, as it doesnt have a choke lever like my sons.

I would check if the air filter is real dirty. Also look at the spark plug, if its still the stock one get a NGK C7HSA. I would also pull off the fuel line and see if gas is actually flowing well..
The auto choke carbs either worked or they didnt. My Yamoto 150 had a e choke and it worked flawlessly. I think I was on of very few who could make that claim.

The air filter in horrible to get to, I looked through the top and it looked dirty, but not clogged. Ill have to take the atv apart to get it out, have no reason not too now. I already changed the spark plug (it had NST A7TC AND I changed to NGK 4549). This is what the parts store said was its replacement.
Ill try the gas line tonight.
thanks

ok, heres an update.
I checked the fuel going into the carb and has good flow.
Finally got the airfilter box out from being jammed between the frame and checked the filter, it was pretty clean.
I traced out all the fuel lines for cracks, etc and all was good.
I tried to crank it again and it fired up for a second. I then adjusted the air mixture screw a 1/4 turn. Tried again and it did the same. Turned the screw back and then tried to crank. It fired right up and ran pretty well. After a bit, I cut it off and tried again, fired right up.
Still need to put on the plastic and see how it does under load.

after putting everything back together I propped it up again and ran it at full throttle, after about 5 seconds of a little rough running a puff of black smoke came out of the tailpipe. I let off and it idled fine, then I went full again with the same result. After that it ran wonderfully.
I took in off the stand and went riding yesterday, It was doing great, then the accelerator cable broke an inch away from the thumb throttle......
Cant seem to get a break!
