Having troubles getting front prop shaft off the transmission side it's hitting the bottom of the engine\water pump.....what needs to be moved to get shaft off.. engine or transmission? And is the clutches needed to be relined? Thanks Sean

After knocking out clevis pin on propshaft at frt gearcase, should go back far enough to come off shaft at front and then forward. If splines dirty, rusted (like most of the ones I encounter) I use a DULL flat tip in my air hammer and penetrating oil, sometimes heating will help removal. If touching water pump cover (usually does) mark position of front motor mount and loosen, pry up (gently) with long pry bar and shim to allow clearance to remove. Air hammer sure beats trying with a chisel and hammer if frozen. Just dont hit splines! GOOD LUCK!
