OK.
Im assuming its a 4x4, if you want to try and get a 2x4 snorkle deep,
GOOD LUCK put big fat tires on the back like mudzillas
and big fat ones up front to help float, spacers, lift kit.
4x4 and 2x4
Snorkle for intake, you just need to get some pvc or abs pipe of the right size,
and run it up as high as you want, might be able to come thru where
the handle bars come thru.
Exhaust,. they might sell one for ya, if not, try the black ABS plastic,
and size it to fit, abs can take alot of heat.
You will need some serious tires, go 24 or 25 inch, get
mud bitches mud zillas super lites mud bugs etc etc.
lift kit will help
wheel spacers will help
do header / exhaust..
UNI or k &n air filter, twin air ok too
JET kit, stage 2 if they have it
clutch kit would help
check rocky mountatv and dennis kirk for stuff that fits your quad
If they have a cam that helps with low/mid range
youll be golden
oh yeah skid plates all around, helps ya slide and safeguards you from all the crap
you cant see when you turn it into a sub
remember, you have an ES, i think they are known to go bad in the water,
watch that tranny~

recons are 2x4 and they come with 23inch tires .....maybe go 25 and get a pipe and rejet....theres not much you can do with it
snorkels are easy just remove the factory one and you will know what size abs to use than go from there go to lowes and get you some pipe and elbows start from there

Recon is not going to turn mudzillas in the mud, my freinds 450 foreman could barely spin them in the thick stuff. The engine is too small to make a decent mudder, plus your going to want 4x4 anyway. Search snorkle on this forum, I've written tips at least a 1/2 dozen times now.

this is why you should snorkel, so you can go deeper than this, the water almost covered the seat before she got across

hehe, ive gone over the hood of my scrambler and still pulled thru, the exhaust was bubbling the whole time, and she was in a partial wheelie so i guess that kept her breathing
total accident.. it looked like a shallow puddle with leaves floating on top, well, after i got in a few feet, my quad just DOVE and turned into a sub
