Default 87 honda 25x problem PLEASE HELP

my honda trx 250x is running to rich. now when its idiling i try to adjust the fuel air mix and nothin happens. i have it all the way open and closed. nothing. my plug is fouled in minutes. i kno my cam is off i dont kno how much, i dont have a micrometer. i dont kno if its something in the carb, the needle, or something inside the engine like the cam or a valve. any replies are appreciated. please help ive been stumped for the longest time. o yea when i run it like in my yard it runs perfect like its not losing any power because of this. it doesnt bog down it actually wants to go. i put a new piston in and i want to ride it. thanks
