Default Polaris Trail Blazer 250 Gear Box Casing Removal?

my chain broke and whipped around and cracked the hell out of my 2002 TB 250's gear box casing..Does anyone have a writeup on replacement or know where to find used ones, what other quads have the same ones? I found one for a 2001, but it doesnt look a whole lot like mine..

Cool cool I appreciate it, does anyone know how to get this thing off? Does just that one side come out or do I wanna take out the whole gear box when I do it? It's the little box, where the little top sprocket comes out of.. It looks like it is split in two, however the bolt removel is being a royal PITA

i just found an older post it says you have to pull the whole tranny out.it also said that any 2000 up trailblazer or trailboss 325 or 330 trailboss would work. go into the search box and type in 2001 trailblazer and you should find plenty of post on the trailblazer. hope this helps you!

Alright, I started pulling off plastic, removed the driven clutch, however how the hell does the drive clutch come off? Also, would I be safe having that gear casing welded?

That im not sure how to do. Go to the search box and type in trail blazer clutch removal and see what you can come up with. You will probably have to remove the gearcase and take to a welder to determine if it can be welded. If the search doesnt help you start a new thread im sure someone on here can tell you how to remove it. Hope this helps you!
