Rear Wheel Hub on 2006 Hawkeye
#1
Hello,
After an unfortunate tumble down a large steep hill my Hawkeye is a bit broken I am heading out to the bush to change the rear wheel hub on my Hawkeye now so I can bring it home.
Can anyone tell me how difficult a job this will be? Will the hub just come off after removing the wheel and axle nut? Any special tools I should take?
I am about a 90 minute rough ride away and I don't want to have to come back for tools
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Not hard, just remove cotter pin and nut and washer, hub will pull off splined shaft. If on brake side, have to remove 2 caliper bolts, then hub. Just bring set of metric sockets

Excellent, thank you. That is what I was hoping for. Now I can get the machine home and get ready for moose hunting
Thanks!
Thanks!
