is there a clutch adjustment on the left side of the case? it should be a threaded shaft with a locknut on it. it would also have increase and decrease marked on the case with arrows. if it has one, loosen the locknut, turn the screw shaft about one quarter turn clockwise, tighten the locknut and try riding it. if that does not work, repeat the process. hope that is the problem.

checked for an adjustment rod the only one i found was to the shifter itself i locked it in four wheel drive and it takes off like a bullet. makes no since to me i think it may be the rear diff but why would it act like the transmission in two wheel drive i did find a plug on the right side bottom case dont know what its for

The plug is the drain for the CVT clutches. Pull the plug to see if there's any water in the housing. It's just a rubber plug.
If you've had the bike in water you may just have a slipping belt. Or the belt may need replacing.
There's a great walk thru for tearing apart the primary clutch and cleaning here.

It's fairly simple if you have any mechanical experience. This is the first thing I did when getting my Grizzly. If the grease in the primary is gone or very dirty the primay sheave will not function properly.
Also try grizzlyowners.com and grizzlycentral.com for tons of help with your grizz.

I can't imagine what would "slip" in the diff. If something is slipping in the rear, I guess 4x4 would mean your front wheels are helping you speed up. I would check the drain plug for sure. Do you know what kind of oil is in it? I have heard that normal automotive oil can cause problems because they are not made for the wet clutch.

i used yama lube 10w40 sae i think i do know i used what the tage under the seat said because i couldn't get over having to pay 25 bucks for a filter and two quarts of oil lol

You said you looked to adjust a clutch rod. I don't think that is what you need. I have read other posts that say there is an adjustment on the clutch itself I think. Have you pulled the drain plug to check for water on the belt?
