Default 300EX front suspension and widening questions

Hello,

I am looking to widen the front of my 300ex and put better shocks on it.

I have a raptor 660 shock for the rear.

For the front, what is the best stock shock I could throw on
with the diamond J customs kit.

I hear 450r fronts would be far to stiff for the 300..

400ex or z400? somthing else?

I do lots of rough trail riding and a decent amount of jumping and high
speed riding.

Can I get away with the diamond J widening kit?

I have been running the kit with 400ex shocks and a-arms, for several years, no problems, and it has been raced, duned, and trail ridden hard.

I put the diamond J relocation kit for the 250r/400ex shocks on and used 250r a arms on my 250x. It widened it plenty for me. However someone else might want it wider. I have beaten the kit pretty hard all summer so far and it hasnt failed me yet. Its very well build in my opinion
