Default Need help with my Yamaha Grizzly 600

My Grizzly 600 does not speed up on hills but the motor goes full throttle.
I just had my Grizzly in a inspection and had a new Belt put in. It ran fine for around 400 miles but all of the sudden when I ride on a hill (on the street) it wont pull at all its like the belt slips or the automatic does not shift up higher. I checked my belt and there is no water or oil in the housing. Bevore it went to the mechanic I did not have this problem. Did the mechanic maybe put in the belt to loose ? Can someone help me please.
