well i will be in silver lake in just one week for 5 days of sand riding, camping, and BBQ around the camp fire. i wish some forum guys would be up there to hang with but oh well, anyway I will be on the trusty old DS and my girl will be on the new raptor 700. I got a brand new HMF full pipe, power commander, and a intake kit to go on it before the trip. i cant wait to see what it will do. I will be going with a guy on a LTR 450 with the same mods and he has been talking lot of smack. I have not said much cause honestly i dont know wht the raptor can do with the mods. in fact i have only rode the 700 once. its for my girl to ride. i enjoy the DS for now and like to cruise around on it. I hope the raptor rips though. My ds needs a valve job and a fresh set of rings but that will have to wait til next year. I will just ride her as is and be happy knowing that i am still faster than most out there in the sand. any input on the mods i have for it. i know they are suppose to be good but are they really that good?
