LT80 Dying Issues
#1
I have an 2003 LT80 that started to develop problems. I have had the carb off and looked at it and can't seemt o find any dirt or issues.
When you turn the "prime" on and choke it, it starts up fine and runs. You can shut the choke off and it runs fine. But the minute you take it off "prime" and put it in the "on" position, it starves for fuel and dies out. It won't restart. You have to put it back on "prime" and choke it, and you are off again.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Scott

It could be a vaccum problem, suck on the vaccum hose (with the patcock in the run position). Fuel should run out.If not, the carb is plugged or the petcock isn't working correctly. If so, you can remove and tear apart the petcock to see what's up in there.
The cheapest and easiest way to fix is to leave the petcock in the prime position and get a on/off valve at the autozone for a cpl bucks.
