Default jetting for my blaster

i have an 01 blaster with fmf fatty pipe and pwr core 2 exhaust. ials have anew kehin flatside carb 30 mm pwk

too rich? too lean? what jetting it come with?

Default jetting for my blaster

i have three main jets 150-152-148 and two slow jets 45 and i think the other slow jet is 42. i have the book that came with my carb but it does nt show anything about my carb.it shows 26-28mm settings and 34and 39mm settings. i really need some help. i was able to adjust the clip postion , bike was running to rich not sure what else to do

If it were me I would start at the fatsest jet and work my way backwards watching the plugs closely as you go.. I think I would put in the 42 slowjet and turn in your fuel mixture screw a turn, remember to watch plugs, most people like tan color. Iperfer brownish on the darker side. this gives me some towork with on a race day that starts out at 50 and ends at eighty

so i should leave the slow jet 42 in then start from 152 on the main jet and work down

Sorry I amnot real familiar with those jet numbers. I think I would leave the pilot jet and i'll ask my partner what he is running for jets

Hey Blasterman831, I don't want to steal your thread but you mentioned you have specs for the 34mm carb. I'm trying to set my buddies bike up with that carb with the same exhaust as you. If you don't mind, can you tell me the settings for that set-up?

If you are still wondering about the jetting I spoke with my brother who runs the same set up you do on a Blaster. He is running a 152 and the 43, forgot to ask him where his needle clip is. Hope this helps, but I would sure check my plug after riding a while.
