Default Sell it out right or part in out?

I have a stock 2004 DS650X. Only mods are a tether and a K&N. It has low hours and in nice shape. It still has 75% of the original tires left. But I have been bitten by the Harley bug and am starting to build my own pro stock. The quad is in the way and I probably only have ridden it once a year for a couple years now.

So do you think I can sell it faster whole or parting it out. I had it listed on Craig's list and ATV trader for $3900 or best offer. No calls. Any thoughts?

Want it? PM me.

Way too much for that year model. $2200-2500 out here at best, and that's on a good day. I watch these things daily on ebay, craigslist, and the trader as I'm trying to pick up another for the stable. You see the same ones listed over and over with no action. The only successful sales are in the $1400-2500 range.
This post covers some of this already, and there's been a few others recently seeking the same answers. Good luck with the sale, it's a buyers market out there with the economy in the shidder.

I would contact my local dealership and ask them if they would be willing to sell it on consignment. A dealership would usually charge 10% of what it sells for.

Depends on the area as to what it's worth. They have on here on CL, 01 looks stock, and they're asking 3k.
