I just gotta 86 250r three wheeler... i found out it has the 330 big bore kit and dirt digger clutches... so far the only thing i have done is clean the carb and tank, and put on a new ignition coil, but it wont start... im using 93 octane and amsoil dominator mixed at 50:1... but im gettin a intermitten spark with no start... can neone help me i REALLY need it. PLEASE

 

Do you know what the compression is? You may need to use a mix of 50/50 race gas/pump premium if the head has been shaved and it is high compression, which it quite possibly is with the 330 kit.
50:1 huh? I've always run 32:1 (1 pint oil to 4 gallons gas) in my 2 strokes, even a built 250R.
Did you replace the spark plug? Even if the old one looks good it is probably bad. Also check the plug wire from the coil to the plug. It would be a good idea to make a new one of those.

 

Do you know the manufactured of the big bore kit? L.A. Sleeve makes a 330cc kit for the 250R, and I know they recommend using race gas because of the high compression piston that comes with the kit. At 50:1 mix ratio, you're going to be fouling out plugs left and right. That could be the cause of your lack of spark.

 

Idk the name of the kit cuz it wuz done prior to me buying it.... i have already replaced the coil, but not the plug... so ur recommending 32:1 even wit the amsoil?

 

I would recommend 32:1 so you're getting enough drop out to lube the bottom end.
Put a new plug in it. And get a few extras for spares, ou will probably need them.

I just went through a big headache with one of my 84's. Sometimes would start, sometimes not. Checked the spark with a new plug, same thing. Replaced the pick-up coil, since it was from 1984, and problem solved. Although, what gave it away was breaking up on top end......And yes 32:1......

 

I just got her running, and wuz amazed. this thing kills my trx450... it is a lil different to ride tho. gotta get use to it.... but i gotta its da fastest thing ive ridden since my 750 suki... go honda... how can i stablelize the steering more?
