Hi-Per Carbon Fiber Rims
#1
Has anyone had a chance to try out HiPer Techs new Carbon Fiber modular rims? I have looked at all the specs on them and on paper they look like they are strong, but I would rather not spend the $800+ on them to find out that they are weaker than a Stocker! I ride extremely aggressive and am looking for a rim that will outlast me,my bike, and every tree, bump, rock, ditch and bailoffs that is in between!!
If anyone has any specs, info or opinions on this I would appreciate it!
P.S. If anyone knows of ANY sites that give strength ratings\specs\DNYO Charts on after market parts PLEASE inform me, I have been looking through every site I come across and have found nothing to supports any manufactures claims!

When these rims first came on there was a lot of talk about them on this site. do a search in this forum. i remember a rep for Hi-Per was on the site and constantly answered questiosn for everyone. he said they were stonger that alum. because they could flex alot more before they break unlike alum with just bends. also they are modular so you can replace the part that you break instead on the whole rim. anyways do a search and all you questiosn will be answered becuase it was a long thread.

Man , I just read the whole post from the Hiper guy. I can't belive that he got the boot. We need a site that we can post to that isnt dependant on advertising to make money. I post on several gun sites and they ALL have OEM topics where OEM rep's can answer a question directly.
