Default PART MANUAL

Hi,
My daughter was riding by on her 110cc when I thought it sounded a little bit loud. She had lost both the bolts holding the exhaust pipe to the manafold. Does anyone know what size and thread count they are. There is no one in Winnipeg that can help me without brining the quad in.

Thanks

Welcome to the forums outofthe60s.

Very few, if any manuals will give the size the thread for that.

What brand is it? There are a few places you might call around and see if they can tell you over the phone. Check out some of the sponsors here and give them a call.

Thanks for the quick reply,
It is a 110cc Hummer, Giovanni bought from Pocket Racers in Winnipeg. Stopped in at a few shops in town and no one could tell me without seeing it. I will probably pick up a couple 10mm bolts and take them to the lake this weekend.

The same thing happened to the used motorcycle I bought recently. Dug through my tool box of extra parts and just happened to have the right size. Worked as a temporary fix till I got the dressier ones from the dealer ordered.

They are usually generic 10mm fine thread. I would measure the diameter of the bolt, then go to your local hardware store and grab a number of variations. Some are sure to fit. I have done this with the two chinese quads I have to maintain, and it works out well.

Ok, cleaned up a few things in here. Helpful posts were left, others removed. If anyone wants to argue that's fine. But you might want to join another forum to do that.

Opinions will vary, that's life. How they're expressed is what will determine who gets to post and who doesn't.
