i`m going to buy a honda 185s for$150 has everything exept for a few odds and ends. i want to put a 200s motor in it for more power is this possible? also is it worth $150?

 

The engine is the same. Only the cylinder bore is different. Same cases, same gearing, same everything. And yes, engine mounting locations are also identical so they are totally interchangable on all of the chain drive engines.

As for more power, the 200 engine is actually only a 192cc engine. The 185 is a 183cc engine.
So the difference is not 15cc as one would assume but really only 9cc.

And the horespower ratings are identical. The "200" engine size was a marketing ploy to sell another model and instill thoughts of more power,...although there is no increased power to speak of.
