Never seen that happen before. Did the bolts come loose? If so, somebody just didn't tighten them enough.

Default blaster head gasket

Being the Blaster Head bolts are studs in the cylinder and are nutted on top are you sure the bolts are loose or just the nuts. When we race the indoor series in the winter we really have to watch the head and base nuts because they do come loose, I would imagine from the temp difference up north.

Default blaster head gasket

the bolts can come ot of the cylinder they are just threaded on both sides , just put ome threadlocker on them after you take the head off and change that gasket it is prob got runied it is made out of copper and the bolts are torqued on ,when you are ready to put i together ,put the bolts on the cylinder first put a double nut on it and put it on the cyl and torque down on the cylinder , then back them ooff 1 at a time so it comes off easy ,then put your head on and then put the nuts on and if you like put thread locker on those too and nothing will ever come loose again ,but if you take it apart again the studs will prob come out wen you turn the nuts off , but tis is not a big deal just clean them up and put it back together ,if you have any questions about doing this please email me
