Default 1996 blaster vs. 1986 atc 250r

my friend just bought a blaster because i have a banshee and my other friend has a 660 raptor. so i wanted to know if my 1986 250r would win against his blaster . it has an richard performance systems(i have never heard of this brand before, but i got it off a bike i stripped along time ago) silencer and his blaster is stock(so i am guessing that i will win with three wheels and a bigger motor) but i have never driven a blaster and he said it was a 200.are all the blaster 200?

The 250R will destroy the Blaster...........more so if you can keep the front end down.

Being a Blaster fan and my son racing mx with them for 3 years I would have to agree with both above posts. From the ones that I have seen run the 250r are pipey and when they hit I'm sure all the Blaster would see is some dust. Now put a Diamond, Fritz, or CT motor in the Blaster and it might be a different story.

The 250R has it's advantages over the Blaster. The main one is 50cc's, but it also has liquid cooling. Not sure if the 250R has a power valve, but if it does that is also an advantage. About the only disadvantage the 250R has against the Blaster is it only has 3 wheels, but going in a straight line it really isn't that big of a deal except trying not to do wheelie off the line.

wow, yea the 250r would flat out rape a blaster even if it had alot of mods in it the 250r would take the win easily unless you cant keep the front end down...
