i have an 87 shee with stage IV head with 20cc domes,fmf fatty pipes and powercore2 silencers,.50 over pistons., 40 mm lectron powerjet single carb and 2 stage reeds, his raptor on the other hand is completly stock. he keeps deniying that i will beat him so i told him to come to old dominion drag strip(it asphualtby the way) with me but he wont go so i guess he doesnt want to loose. he beat me in a feild (it is because he has itp holeshots and i have some chinese tires that just spin when you hit the gas)

my shee might be an 87 but it looks brand new. it has new plastic (white), all stainless steel bolts and powder coated frame with newly painted front radiator shield, new ada racing throttle and brake cover and transmittion cover with a skull on it. it looks like it just came from the factory.it even looks newer than his raptor!!!!!!!!!!!

 

It would be an interesting race, but I would put my money on the Banshee.

 

I have to place my bet on the shee but i have seen alot of tricked out banshees that couldnt stand up to a simple mod banshee with the right set up

They only made 660 Raptors in '01. It started a new revolution.

 

stock vs stock a banshee will still smoke a raptor 660 everywhere yours is modded and will def rip it a new a$$ hole...if you can get traction, thats a big prob with banshees the power never gets to the ground quite like the 4 strokes...they also had a shootout on this a few years back on dirtwheels. low end power and suspension maybe is the only better things on the raptor...i still think to this day a banshee, lt500 and 250r are the baddest bikes out there even to this day.
