ok, my wifes trailblazer is with out brakes..the frt master cylinder resivor was broke off and i installed a new one without knowing the piston and seals were shot the brakes were great befor the resivor was snapped of..so at this time the all in one brake handle is inop..sooo off to bleeding the rear,it workrd kind before i went to bleed it.. bleed it and lost the brake ,but had pedel..used a vacume bleeder and have no pedal nd no brakes ,this makes no sense, i did the brick on the peadl over night, gravity blled .. i have pumped the hell out of the rear brake and get nothing at all..any sugestions, i have done brakes on almost anything yopu can drive on or off the road and this little thing is annoying me ... ist it just my luck that when the resivor got broke off the piston and seals went out and at the very same thine the rears went out.. what the hell

 

i think the back brake/pedal is a piece of junk and pretty much useless. even if you get it to hold pressure it doesnt last until it looses it again. if the brick trick didnt work, then besides being full of air, i wouldnt know how to fix it w/out a better system. good luck.

I just went through kinda sots the same.
I didn't break the resivoir off but the rear caliper was half seized.
I ended up putting a seal kit in.
Bleeding was kind of a pain but eventually It did bleed and have good brakes. most of all the piston will go back so it won't drag the pads on the rotor.
Where this might help you,and sorry if you have already tried this.
If you are saying you cannot get any rear foot brake pressure. There are two seals in the piston. One is for the hand brake and the other is for the foot brake. If you have bad piston seals, with out any pressure from the hand lever you probably won't get any pressure from the foot pedal. Both systems have there own resivoir but share a common piston. If one leaks they both eventually will have not pressure.
If you did not know it the foot brake has its own resivoir. It's under the right side body panel. Mine was empty.
All being said.
My foot pedal still doesn't work very well.
